Dick Samson requested I provide some basic information on how I combine videos in a single posting: "Also, I really like your method of posting multi-part videos in a single post. A great convenience for the viewer, and less work for the poster. Would you consider sharing your method in a blog or forum post?"
To begin, I recommend you get the latest version of Firefox as version 3 just became available today. It is not only faster, but has the advantage that you can open multiple tabs as you jump back and forth between web pages.
I will use the example of my recent video series: Big Mind by Genpo
http://www.superlife.ws/video/video/show?id=547497%3AVideo%3A38162
1. First select the Videos tab in Superlife and click on the + Add Videos link on the upper right area of the page. Then when a new page opens, since you are posting from YouTube click on the link that says Add Video on the lower left side of the page.
2. Open a new tab (file>new tab) and go to the desired video in my case:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zT9y1YEUjy0
3. Copy the HTML code from the window below "embed" by holding the left cursor down and dragging it across the code so it gets shaded. Then right click and select "copy" or, under Edit at top of page, select "copy'.
4. Come back to your Add videos-SuperLife tab and paste that information in the box that is labeled " Paste the 'embed' code for the video here:" (Right click mouse or select "paste" from Edit.)
5. A new page will open and then you can copy and paste all the information from YouTube, including Title, Description, and Tags.
6. You are now almost finished for a single video, but rather then clicking the "Save Changes" link, you can now start adding all related videos in the series.
a. First copy and paste the Title information in the Description window below the information you already added about the first video. Then go back and copy the embed information exactly as you did before, only this time you are pasting the code in the Description Window.
b. Continue with each new video, copying and pasting the Title and code in sequence until you have your complete series. Then, when you are done, you can hit the "Save Changes" link and you should have your complete set on one page.
(I did run into a problem with the Big Mind series when I got to video # 11, I got an error message saying I had exceeded the limit of characters allowed. My solution was simple to copy the page url and post it since it takes up less space.
Good Luck. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
